【摘要】:ThistestmethodprovidesforthequantitativedeterminationoftotalolefinsintheC4toC10rangeinspark-ignitionenginefuelsorrelatedhydrocarbonstreams,suchasnaphthasandcrackednaphthas.Olefinconcentrationsintherangefrom0.2to5.0liquid-volume%ormass%,orboth,canbedetermineddirectlyontheas-receivedsamplewhereasolefinsinsamplescontaininghigherconcentrationsaredeterminedafterappropriatesampledilutionpriortoanalysis.Thistestmethodisapplicabletosamplescontainingalcoholsandethers;however,samplescontaininggreaterthan15%alcoholmustbediluted.Samplescontaininggreaterthan5.0%ethermustalsobedilutedtothe5.0%orlesslevel,priortoanalysis.Whenethyl-tert-butyletherispresent,onlyolefinsintheC4toC9rangecanbedetermined.Thistestmethodcannotbeusedtodetermineindividualolefincomponents.ThistestmethodcannotbeusedtodetermineolefinshavinghighercarbonnumbersthanC10.Note1-PrecisionwasdeterminedonlyonsamplescontainingMTBEandethanol.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
