【摘要】:AllX-raysystemsaresubjecttochangingefficiencies,soapracticeforcheckingtheoveralloperationisneeded.ThispracticewillassuretheoperatorofanoptimizedimagewhenambientconditionsarecontrolledandtheX-rayhighvoltagegeneratorisadjustedasprescribed.Thedensitiesofsometirecordmaterialsareveryclosetothatoftherubbermatrixinwhichtheyareenclosed,sotheresolvingcapabilityofanX-raysystemiscriticaltothedetectionofabnormalities.Therubber-cordpiediskprovidesameansforoptimizingtheresolvingpowerinaparticularapparatusandforcomparingitsperformanceoveranyperiodoftime.Therubber-cordpiediskcanbeusedtocomparetheperformancesofX-raysystemsindifferentlaboratories.Itcanalsobeusedinspecialcasestooptimizesystemperformanceforaparticularsectororcord-type,asmayberequiredforexaminingaspecifictire.FIG.2Pie-CordDiskTestFixture1.1Thispracticedescribestheconstructionanduseofarubber-cordpie-shapedstandarddiskfordemonstratingthediscernmentcapabilityofanX-rayimagingsystem.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletodirectviewing(fluoroscopic)X-rayimagingsystemsandfilm,plateorpaper(radiographic)X-rayimagingsystemsthatareusedforcheckingtheconstructionconsistencyofpneumatictires.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcernssassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
