【摘要】:ThispartofBS6465givesrecommendationsonthedesignofsanitaryfacilitiesandtherecommendedscaleofprovisionofsanitaryandassociatedappliancesinnewbuildingsandbuildingsundergoingmajorrefurbishment.Italsocoverstherecommendedscaleofprovisionofportabletoilets.Thisstandardappliestothefollowing:a)privatedwellings;b)residentialandnursinghomesforolderpeople;c)workplaces;d)shopswithsalesareainexcessof1000m2andshoppingmalls;e)petrolstations;f)schools;g)assemblybuildingswheremostWCuseisduringintervalsorotherconcentratedperiodsoftime,suchastheatres,cinemasandsimilarbuildings;h)assemblybuildingswheremostWCuseisnotconcentratedintheintervals,suchasexhibitioncentres,libraries,museumsandsimilarbuildings;i)bedroomsinhotels,hostels,andsimilaraccommodation;j)restaurants,andotherareaswhereseatingisprovidedforeatinganddrinking;k)licensedpubs,bars,nightclubs,discothequesandsimilarpremises;l)swimmingpools;m)facilitiesfordisabledpeople;n)publictoilets;o)temporarytoilets.NOTE1Therecommendationsforsanitaryappliancesinhospitalsandotherhealthcarebuildingsarecoveredbythegeneralrecommendationsofthisstandard.However,informationonthescaleofprovision,ergonomicdataandthespecialrequirementsforsanitaryappliancesinhospitalscanbefoundinthevariousguidancedocumentsproducedbytheNHS.Thispartdoesnotcover:1)specialistappliances,suchasthoseusedforlaundryorcatering,orthosefoundinhospitals,laboratoriesandsimilarestablishments;2)culturalpreferences;3)sanitaryrequirementsinvehiclesandothermeansoftransport;4)spacerequirementsforsanitaryappliances;NOTEBS6465-2canbereferredtoforrecommendationsonthespacerequirementsaroundsanitaryappliancestoensureconvenienceinuseandtofacilitatemaintenanceandcleaning.5)theselection,installationormaintenanceofsanitaryappliances;NOTEBS6465-3canbereferredtoforrecommendationsontheselection,installationandmaintenanceofvarioustypesofsanitaryappliances.6)thedetailedprovisionsofwatersupply,sanitarypipework,ordrainage.NOTEInformationonwatersupplyiscoveredinBS6700andBSEN806(allparts);sanitarypipeworkinBSEN12056-2;anddrainageinBSEN752-1,BSEN752-2,BSEN752-3andBSEN752-4.NOTE2TheprovisionsinthisstandardareapplicabletoEnglandandWales.InScotlandandNorthernIrelandtheprovisionswillneedtobecheckedagainstlegislation.NOTE3InEnglandandWales,levelsofprovisionofsanitaryappliancesiscoveredbyBuildingRegulations2000:ApprovedDocumentG–Hygiene[1],andApprovedDocumentM–Accesstoanduseofbuildings[2].InScotland,levelsofprovisionofsanitaryappliancesarecoveredbyBuilding(Scotland)Regulations2004:TechnicalHandbook–Non-domestic(seeSection3)[3]andBuilding(Scotland)Regulations2004:TechnicalHandbook–Domestic(seeSection3)[4].InNorthernIreland,someaspectsoflevelsofprovisionofsanitaryappliancesiscoveredbytheBuildingRegulations(NorthernIreland)2000TechnicalbookletP–Unventedhotwaterstoragesystems[5]andTechnicalbookletR–Accessandfacilitiesfordisabledpeople[6].
